THE PAST

2017-2018

In February 2017, my mother and I started a book called “Moving toward balance eight weeks of yoga” by Rodney Yee; we didn’t miss a day even when we went on vacation. We finished the book and started repeating different chapters and sequences in the back of the book. Eventually, we became more curious about yoga studios. By this time, it’s January 2018; we start to practice at Hot Yoga experience in Redmond; a teacher announced yoga teacher training and planted the seed in my mind.

April 2018

Tapping into my personal life at that time. I was a freelance Hair & Makeup artist; I traveled all over the greater Seattle area to educate and empower people to find their morning & evening skincare routine, makeup wardrobe, and daily fragrance. Instant gratification is charming, don't get me wrong, but something inside me knew I wanted to teach these people how to find confidence, more than any lipstick or Contour will give them. I wanted to provide them with the tools like self-compassion, to help process everyday life. My yoga practice truly helped me see a bridge to my soul’s calling.

June 2018

In April of 2018, I found Danielle Day on Yoga Alliance. As I browsed Openupyogatt.com, I found a passage that resonated with me…“The thing that makes our program special is that it isn’t about me or my practice. Our yoga teacher training isn't really even all that much about the minutiae of yoga poses, and it sure isn't about celebrating me or other yoga teachers. Instagram Yogis, online personalities, or any Yoga names in celebrity standing are not what we are about. Our program is special because it is about me coaching individuals through the huge process of setting a goal and working very hard to achieve that goal. The magic is in how we hold space for this growth and healing in the yoga teacher training process. It is about what changes in a person when they undertake this goal and then work to achieve it. The discoveries they make about themselves are life-changing.” … at that moment, I knew it was the right program for me. I received my 200-hour teaching certification; I am so proud to be alumni of OpenUp! Session 45 (June 5th to July 7th, 2018)

2018- 2019

I will always be so grateful I leaped to be walking on the path closer to my Dharma. Fast forward to Teaching over a thousand hours of teaching different styles of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, and Yin. I found a passion for Sound Healing and Yoga Nidra.

The desire was still there. I wanted to learn how to help as many people as possible; I received my 500-hour yoga teacher Certification in August 2019.

2020-2022

I was working in multiple Yoga studios and local Gyms for just shy of two years. The global pandemic allowed me to take a step back from teaching to do some soul searching. During that time, I made the decision to made to my home state Colorado.

I am currently teaching in Littleton, Colorado.
